Seriously, it’s so weird, it’s beyond ‘hey watch this because it’s so weird’ – in fact, it’s REALLY far beyond that.
Clearly Maynard was trying to make the weirdest/dumbest/oddest video ever, and he succeeded in spades.
It’s like he thought – “hmmm, I’ve been drinking a lot of my own wine tonight – might be a good time to come up with a video for that oddly faithful cover we did of Bohemian Rhapsody…now, what is something really lame that nobody would want to see – let’s take that and make it weird and disturbing with a production value that would make you wonder why film ever became a popular medium in the first place. And then laugh all the way to the bank while our sucker fans suffer through it.”
I suffered and am still suffering (as much as watching something stupid can make you suffer, which is, admittedly about a .00001 on the suffering scale).
PoohSuffer has done some good stuff, and too much not-so-good stuff. I won't even wish Maynard to go back to being a rock star with Tool and APC. Clearly he's into winemaking now. Good for him. Not sure why he even wastes his time doing the PoohSuffer gig at this point.
And yes, I know he doesn't give a shit what I or anyone else on earth thinks.
If you must watch it...
